PESC Quilombola Group (MA) starts partnership with the National School Feeding Program
The Quilombo Vila Fé em Deus productive group, part of the PESC Quilombolas, started a partnership with the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) last month. The agreement is an important contribution to strengthening the business as a rural enterprise, in addition to contributing to the local economy and healthy eating at schools, as all products are grown in an agroecological system.
An initiative of the Vale Foundation with Instituto Criare and CIEDS, the Community Social Entrepreneurship Program (PESC) encourages and supports social businesses, especially in regions with initiatives that are still embryonic and with entrepreneurial potential. This is the second group of PESC Quilombolas authorized to supply agricultural products via PNAE.
