Updated, Vale Foundation course explains  how to raise funds for sports projects

Organizations that intend to raise funds through the Sports Incentive Federal Law have a course from the Vale Foundation to train themselves on the subject. Prepared in partnership with the company Trilha Gestão, the course, whose first module was launched in 2022, had its content updated and now brings new information for everyone who wants to know the possibilities of application that the law provides.

In addition to the basic concepts of the legislation and explanations on how to register the projects, students will also be able to understand the processes and procedures related to monitoring and accountability. The training is 100% online, free and, at the end, participants receive a certificate of completion.

With the course, the Vale Foundation intends to contribute to the training of those who work in the preparation and management of sports projects financed by the law throughout the country, helping to expand the number of initiatives and territorial coverage.

About the law

The Sports Incentive Federal Law (Law no 11.438/06) is a social inclusion tool that allows resources from tax waivers to be used for sports and parasports projects from all over Brazil. Through donations and sponsorships, both from individuals and legal entities, the encouraged projects serve more than one million participants, according to an estimate by the Ministry of Sports.
